Bismillah Babies was founded in June 2023 by Zartash Rehan, a women’s health doctor on maternity leave. During this time, she recognised an unmet need in the community: a space where Muslim mothers could connect, find support and inspiration, and share their journeys, while their children played in a safe and welcoming environment. She also recognised the importance of post-partum support, understanding the challenges new mothers face and the need for solidarity, shared experiences, and emotional care. With this in mind, she envisioned a positive space for young Muslim families to nurture their spirituality and build lasting bonds.
