Zartash is a doctor with a strong passion for women’s health and early years education. As a mother of two, she understands the challenges of postpartum life and has made it her mission to ensure no mother feels unsupported. She founded Bismillah Babies to create a “village” where mothers find community and children develop a love for their faith. Inspired by prophetic principles of learning through play, she shapes many of the playgroup’s activities. Zartash’s love for education extends all the way from early years to to her medical career; where she is currently pursuing a Master’s at Cambridge University, always drawing inspiration from diverse learning environments.
Shazia is a mother and grandmother who believes in fostering a strong connection between children and the masjid, just as our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ did. She serves as the vital link between Bismillah Babies and the masjid, ensuring smooth collaboration and organisational responsibility. Her dedication helps create a welcoming space where families feel at home.
Sadia is a pharmacist and mother of three with a passion for bringing Bismillah Babies to life through engaging, faith-inspired activities. With a keen eye for detail and creativity, she ensures our playgroup sessions are filled with exciting themes, meaningful play, and fun rhymes that capture the children’s imagination. As Treasurer, she also helps manage the financial sustainability of the group.
Sunnah is a primary school teacher and mother of four who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. With expert organisational skills, she ensures that resources are well-managed and that every session is set up for success. Her dedication to structure and planning allows the playgroup to operate efficiently while creating a fun and engaging environment for the children.
Soanna is an English Literature student at Cardiff University with a creative flair that brings our playgroup activities to life. She designs engaging arts and crafts projects that beautifully tie into our weekly Islamic themes, making learning hands-on and enjoyable for the children. Her fresh ideas and artistic skills inspire both mothers and little ones.
